Lakewood Ranch to Celebrate Its 15th Anniversary

Lakewood Ranch is preparing to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the first homes sold at this master-planned community in Bradenton in Manatee County, Florida just north of Sarasota. The celebration, free and open to the public, will occur October 15th starting at 4:00PM at the Sarasota Polo Club.
For those not familiar yet with Lakewood Ranch, it is a 8,500 acre master-planned community with over 150 miles of sidewalks and trails, community parks, lakes and nature preserves with forest and wetland preserves. The private Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club offers
year-round play on 54 holes of magnificently designed courses, 36 designed by the Palmer Course Design Co. and an 18 hole course designed by Rick Robbins as well as a practice range, practice chipping area and practice putting greens.
The club also includes an athletic club with an 11,400 square foot fitness center, 2 heated outdoor pools and 18 lighted clay tennis courts. Lakewood Ranch also offers Polo
and Cricket clubs.
