This reluctance is having a depressing effect on the sale of luxury homes and condos throughout the United States.

    According to Bob Henley, a Sarasota real estate expert, the problem is particularly troublesome in places like Sarasota where there is a large inventory of Sarasota luxury homes, mansions and waterfront condos in the $1 million to $5 million price range for sale.
